Frequently asked questions
Is treatment safe and sterile?
HT Seoul has a dedicated sterilisation room with an autoclave and UV steriliser, private treatment rooms and Korean Osstem dental chairs. Implant cases are planned on a CT scan.
Does it hurt?
The area is numbed first, so most people feel only mild pressure. After implant surgery there may be a few days of swelling or soreness; the dentist gives medication and care instructions. Everyone is different.
How long does treatment take?
Crowns and veneers take about 3 days. Implants give you teeth to chew on in about 8 days: temporary resin or fixed, depending on your bone. Cases needing a bone graft have their own schedule; your exact plan comes after the dentist sees your scan.
How is the cost calculated? Can it go up?
Implant prices are all-inclusive: implant, abutment and crown. The only possible addition is a bone graft, $150 per 0.3 cc of bone, only if the scan shows it is needed. Sinus lifts are free. Crowns and veneers are priced per tooth and porcelain type. Every cost is on your plan before treatment.
Why are your prices lower? Are you cutting corners?
No. HT Seoul has one location and most new patients come through referrals, so there are no chain or heavy advertising costs. Korean implants also cost less at source than European ones. Straumann implants from Switzerland are available at $1,500.
Do you support international patients?
Yes. Message us on WhatsApp (+84 327 718 888) before your trip with photos, X-rays and travel dates and we schedule around your flights. We reply in English and Vietnamese.
Do you help with airport transfers and tours?
Yes. Airport pick-up on arrival and drop-off for your flight home at Noi Bai Airport are free. We can also help you book tours in Hanoi, Ninh Binh or Ha Long Bay at discounted rates. If you are having a full-arch treatment (All-on-4, All-on-6 or full-arch cosmetic porcelain crowns), a car and driver for sightseeing trips to Ha Long Bay, Trang An (Ninh Binh) and Hanoi Old Quarter is free. Hotels and flights you book yourself; we suggest convenient areas to stay.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, in writing. Single implants: Dentium, Osstem and Hiossen 15 years; Straumann 20 years. All-on-4/6: Dentium and Osstem 12 years, Hiossen 15 years, Straumann 20 years. Korean all-porcelain crowns on offer: 10 years.
What if I have a problem after I go home?
Message HT Seoul and the dentist will ask about the issue and advise you. Warranties are written per treatment and apply when you return to the clinic.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Card, Apple Pay or Samsung Pay at the clinic. The payment schedule for each step is written on your plan before treatment.
If I need several visits, must I come back to Vietnam several times?
Crowns and veneers are done in one trip of about 3 days. Implants give you teeth to chew on in about 8 days (temporary resin or fixed, depending on your bone). The dentist tells you after the scan whether you need to come back.
My case is complex, or an implant failed before.
Complex cases are booked on days when the Korean implant specialist works with our Vietnamese dentist. Send your X-ray early so we can match your dates.
Crown or veneer?
Veneers are thin and need little reduction, good for colour and minor shape changes. Crowns cover the whole tooth, better for badly chipped, root-treated or misaligned teeth. The dentist advises after the exam, with no pressure.
Ready for your new smile?
Send your needs with photos of your teeth or any existing X-rays on WhatsApp. Nha khoa Quốc tế HT Seoul replies in English during opening hours, 9:00–19:00 Vietnam time (GMT+7). The dentist reviews your photos and X-rays online and gives you a cost range before you fly.
